We sure do! Meet our feathered residents: Hennifer, Eggatha, Cluck, and Pecky—our charming backyard chickens here at Shelby Ranch in South Austin. Seasonally from April to October, they roam their cozy coop and lay farm-fresh eggs, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Just swing by the business cafe and look for the Shelby Ranch-branded egg cartons when they’re ready to be scooped up.

Our resident queen bee, ShelBee, leads a thriving colony right here on-site. The hives are professionally maintained by The Best Bees Company, ensuring a healthy environment for our bees and high-quality, seasonal honey exclusively for our residents. It’s just one of the sweet perks of living here!

Our community garden is thriving with seasonal fresh-grown tomatoes, herbs, peppers, and more! It’s a shared, sustainable space where residents are welcome to plant, grow, and pick their own veggies.
